Founding of Outbound Group

The Outbound Group was founded by IT professionals and respected technologists with experience in the services, manufacturing, financial services, and other sectors. The idea for the Outbound Group emerged from a strong desire to exceed the offerings of traditional IT companies by challenging the conventional one-size-fits-all approach. Our founder recalls that while working full-time for a financial services firm, he was frequently approached by business owners in his network, seeking his guidance on how to leverage technology to drive their business strategies.

Bridging the Market Gap

Over the next ten years, he could not ignore the gap in the market, the lack of customer centricity among Managed Service Providers, and the distance between these parties, where understanding business needs was essential in developing solutions. He recognized that doing what should be right for businesses rather than what technology prescribed was critical to establishing trust and helping companies succeed. Although the Outbound Group offers the same technology and services you would expect from most traditional IT companies, they set themselves apart by being a trusted advisor – giving their clients the support and solutions they need to improve their operations, rather than sticking stubbornly to outdated practices.

Keith Bucknall is a highly experienced technical senior IT visionary leader, with a passion for technology, trends, enabling business, and supporting senior executives. The focus of his career has been on driving forward major transformational technical programmes, shaping the functionality of technical operations, and advising senior management on how IT can add value to the enterprise. Keith is an expert in Enterprise Architecture, strategic planning and vision, a cloud evangelist, and the go-to person to deliver projects with a hands-on and off approach. He combines comprehensive technical knowledge with the ability to identify, design, and implement IT solutions that address business challenges to improve IT performance metrics. He has worked across all ranks and disciplines in architecture, infrastructure, support, and development roles.

Victoria Lomax

Head of Virtual Services

Victoria, Head of Virtual Services at Outbound Group, brings 7 years’ experience with 500+ IT and cybersecurity providers, driving client strategies and leading people-first managed services.

Victoria has spent the last 7 years working with over 500 IT, Technology, and Cyber Security Service providers on their client and technical strategies. Having worked closely with C-level executives at many service providers of all shapes and sizes, Victoria recognised that things are done differently at Outbound Group.
