A Brief Outbound Group History
The Outbound Group was founded by IT professionals and respected technologists with experience in the services, manufacturing, financial services and various other sectors.
The idea for the Outbound Group came from an overwhelming desire to go above and beyond what traditional IT companies were offering, by disrupting the conventional one-size-fits-all approach. Our Founder recalls that while he was working full-time for a financial services firm, he was inundated with requests from company owners in his network, asking him to serve as a sounding board and advisory on how they should use technology to enable their business strategies.
Over the next ten years, he could not ignore the gap in the market, the lack of customer centricity among Managed Service Providers, and the distance between these parties, where understanding business needs was essential in developing solutions.
He recognised that doing what should be right for businesses rather than what technology prescribed was critical to establishing trust and helping companies succeed.
Although the Outbound Group offers the same technology and services you would expect from most traditional IT companies, they set themselves apart by being a trusted advisor – giving their clients the support and solutions they need to improve their operations, rather than sticking stubbornly to outdated practices.
Due to the complexities inherent in technology, it is often relegated to the sidelines or ignored by businesses. Whether it is the most effective use of current platforms, changing systems, or selecting and implementing new platforms, this involves change. In order to change the way people work or adopt new technology, the business culture must play a role, as well as how the entire organization supports this change.
